Dear Parents/Guardians of Room 5 and 6 Students
As you will be aware, the re-cladding project of the original buildings at Reremoana School is well underway.
Tomorrow (Friday the 20th of March) the construction area will move to the Hall. Room 5 and Room 6 will move over to POD 2 (old Room 7 and Room 8) in the afternoon from 1pm, which is the block next to the Library. Mrs Williams and Miss Jakubcik will put signs up on the classes to advise you of your child’s new class location.
On Friday the 20th of March students will be located in the Library for the last part of the day (1pm – 3pm), and from Monday 23rd of March classes will be up and operational in the ‘new’ rooms.
Please contact me should you require any further information.

We have been exploring the wonderful world of wildlife as part of our science living world Inquiry. Part of this learning was our exposure walk around our local environment to see what wildlife we have around us. There has been a lot of discussion around what we saw, what interested us and what we want to know more about. We have been doing lots of research about different types of wildlife. Here are some of the children in Room 6's comments/thoughts/wonderings...
Birds can swim and I saw some put their heads under the water. - Brody
The ducks feathers can fall off, we collected some on our walk.
What do ducks eat? - Veronique
Birds live in a tree and they like to eat worms. - Valentina
Birds can fly because they have lots of feathers, they move with the wind helping them. They live in nests and they drink with their beaks.
They eat with their beaks. -Hope
I want to find out how ducks swim. -Finlay
